"This is a great tool to keep you focused on your brick wall! Plan your work then work your plan. Maybe I won't chase after as many rabbits and shiny records if I stick to this roadmap."

--Mary D.

Hi! I'm Jennifer

I know what it takes to bust a brick wall. I've been a genealogist since the age of 9 and I've been a professional genealogist since 2008.

Everyone's brick wall is unique but The Brick Wall Solution Roadmap is my simple approach to the steps I use as a professional genealogist to work towards busting the toughest genealogy problems.

Every time a client asks me to help with their brick wall, I start with steps 1, 2, and 3 of the Roadmap. If that doesn't bust their brick wall, I consider each of the dozen sources provided on the source list included with the Roadmap. Then it's time to go back to the Roadmap to use any relevant sources during steps 4, 5, and 6.

The Roadmap really is how I help clients with research I've never seen before. It's also how I find time to work on the brick walls in my own family tree!

"This information is a great guideline for genealogists to follow. Probably one of the hardest things about genealogy is to keep from being distracted during research and going off in an entirely different direction."
