How do I know the BWS Toolbox is for me?
The Toolbox was designed for any genealogist with a brick wall that thinks they need more help but isn't sure what. It's ideal for your first brick wall. It's also ideal for non-beginners who want confirmation they've done the basics, including checking all the basic types of sources.
The Toolbox isn't for advanced or professional researchers looking to deep-dive into advanced skills. Think of it this way. This is a "toolbox." You can tune-up a car and do a lot of repairs with just a basic toolbox. If you need to do something more advanced, like rebuild an engine, you need more than just a toolbox (like advanced skills, special tools, and parts).
How soon after purchasing will my Toolbox arrive?
Your Toolbox is available almost immediately (as soon as your Academy account is set-up).
Make sure you don't make a typo in your email address!
We are a very small business. If you make a typo, we can fix it, but our office is NOT open 24-7. It can take a few days to correct your records.
Can I get a physical copy?
No. The resources in the Toolbox are only available as digital files.

Can I get the Brick Wall Checklist for a location other than the U.S.?
No. Our geographical specialty is U.S. research. We have included the "Checklist" to provide the most specific assistance we can in this area of top concern. This is the only Toolbox resource that is geographically specific.
This product isn't just a checklist. It includes information on how to use some of the top clue-producing sources. This information can apply to these sources no matter where your research is based.
What if I get stuck—Can I get help?

The Toolbox is such an insane discount, additional genealogy support is not included. The Tune-up Guide was designed as a form of self-serve support.
